OH SNAP! I hope nobody ordered me a set. Someone implied that they were going to buy me a set. Are both your sets from there? Are both of them that low of quality? Yikes.

Thanks for the heads up James. I was considering ordering a set. Won't be doing it now....

just 1 set was ordered from them. It costs $130 for both the blouse and trousers. Both have horrible stitching, there's absolutely no reinforcement anywhere, so regardless of the stitch quality it will still tear apart. Spend the xtra money and order from skd.

skd tactical, their an online gear shop. They cost $185 for a full set, I ordered a pair and hopefully it'll be in by next week. I'll post another review once I get it. Their's is made for contractors out in Iraq, so it should be good.

I am new to this forum and to airsoft in general. I have recieved my Crye Precision Combat Uniform and Field Uniform and can say they are worth every penny. These are not the Canadian made uniforms but the uniforms designed and made by Crye. The Combat uniform is incredibly detailed and has fully integrated high-impact knee and elbow pads. If you haven't checked out he Crye site then do it now. Also there is a great write up about all the Crye products including the Armor Chassis on the Military Morons site. Do your self a favor and get on the waiting list for the real deal Crye uniforms, besides, they cost less than the Canadian ones.

these aren't the canadian ones, at least I don't think so. What makes you think they are from Canada?

OK, I just visited the SKD site. These are basically your BDU pattern with pockets added to the sleeves. However, They do not have the same features as the Crye uniforms. Crye reinforces the elbows and knees with 1000D Cordura, Velcro loop for identifiers, ergonomic chest pockets with dual access, etc. I got on the list last Feb and only wanted the Field Uniform, when they contacted me I added another Field Uniform and the Combat Uniform with pads. Did you try calling them?

Did you read what I wrote? I believe I said basic not an exact duplicate or the same. Also did you read Crye's front page? It says no more orders after May 2005 so calling them would be useless.

Freq, I ordered a set of multicam (from US/Appach. Mil Surplus) in July of 05, it took 4 months to get to me and I still havent received a refund since I sent it back a long time ago. Did you ever receive a refumd and have you been able to contact AMS at all lately?

To add my opinion, Tru spec camo is awesome! great quality, but of course for a price. I have Tru spec MARPAT and i love it. great stuff! They make all different kinds of camo though, including multicam. here is a link to some great stuff, may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere however.
