Yep, its dead. I was talking to some army recuiters, and all they had to say about that gun was it was crap. They all hated it with a passion, probally because its a cheap version of the G36, and that = bad.

That gun looks like somethin from Halo lol.

I don't know which army recruiter you've been talking to but he's proably just a pissed off desk jocky whos maybe stuck recruiting for far to long, I've heard nothing but good things about the XM8.By the way quit worrying, everyone knows that it takes years before anything like that will make it into a infantry mans hands, if its even excepted by the army and nermrous budget commitees.it might die any way.

Do a little research before you rant on.By the way do you even know how many conflicts the M-16/M-4 series has been involved in or the countries that use it? No I didn't think so!

dude u r right about the xm8, i have done research,the only reason we r still using those guns is because there hasnt really been any new guns that would be good for the army,until now.i give the m4 and 16 credit,they r great guns and i thank them for keeping me alive,but they just arent good COMPARED to the xm8,but they still are good guns.
