i bought a used SUn project m40xb but i wanted to put a new spring in it. WHen my friend took it to AEX ronnie couldn't open up the cylinder, which also happed for the guy that i bought it from.

why couldn't he open up the cylinder? did he not have a cylinder key/spanner wrench? that's all is usually takes and with the proper tools, it an easy swap of springs.
i actually personally tried to take the cylinder apart, somebody i beleive put lock-tight on it when they put it back together. I had a spanner and everything and could not get the thing apart. best way to go is to buy a new cylinder.

both WGC and DenTrinity have them listed, but i would try DenTrinity since they have it in stock it seems.
