well we camped outside most of the day waitin for the ups truck to turn the corner n finally round 6:30ish it showed...i got the neonfire g36c n my buddy got the csi mp5...im aware that there crap guns compared to the ca and tm's out there but were both low on cash n got them for the backyard....of course as i somewhat expected my gearbox jammed about half an hour into play time...me knowin nothin bout takin the guns apart went at it n fixed it in bout 20 min (i was yellin most the time kuz it happend so fast..lol)....were lookin 2 get sum upgrades sometime in the future(xmas maybe..:)..hehe)...so hopefully we kan make them decent without spendin a whole lot of money so we kan go to sum games....but for now its lookin like the backyard or maybe a cqb if one comes up...jus glad to finally be able to have a replica of my fav gun....haha...hope to get em up n maybe katch sum of u at a game sumtime
thats good you got an aeg. not one of the top of the line. i started out with springers. manually cocking the gun was the fun part because you get better and faster at it.(i know that sound perverted, but hey that was the only way.) and you get more conservative about your bb's. we also played in the backyard and man that was fun. shooting wach other at about 15 ft. hope fully you get to hype your gun up to shoot were its above 260fps atleast. im sure it will if you use .12g. haha j/k. have fun in the backyard with your new guns.
lol, ya i know exactly what your talking about RsynDentist. Me and my friends started off the same way, playing with our springers in the backyard (and sometimes inside the house when the parents were gone - :D ). That lasted about two years - then we found out that they made GBB and AEG airsoft guns. Its all been uphill since there!!

haha...nice....yeh gettin to at least 260 would be nice...im not sure what upgrades to get first but im thinkin a spring would do good for now...i would like a better gear box but those cost more n i dont have that kinda money at the moment...im a broke german...hahahhaha

sounds cool there bud, have fun. getting new guns in the mail is always a blast. sometimes the anticipation is more satisfying than the POS you get in the mail lol.
yup...my guns jammed 3 times already but i find it easy to fix...im gonna make a small hole in the gear box shell to fit a toothpick to push the gear that keeps messin up back into place to save me time...but all in all...80 bucks for the gun n bb's plus shippin im not gonna complain too much....a few upgrades like a new gearbox definately if theres one available for the neonfire n a spring n stuff like that
