What do you guys think about banning him for his blatant dishonesty? It is very interesting that he is trying to sell the MC51 on ebay. He is still saying that it was worked on by AEX. I think people are waiting on us to take action and make an example of him. Our sport relies on honesty and integrity, and by not doing something we could be sending a negative message. These are just my thoughts, please chime in.
Yeah, He is lying. But he's not trying to sell it to sacair members. Lots of peeps try to make a buck doing that. From scalping tickets, xbox 360, etc, etc. He paid d80 his 200 bucks he agreed to. d80 could have said no and refused his offer.

I don't know. It says on our forum heading that sacair takes no respomcibility(SP duh) for any sales. I think for the selling the gun for a higher price is no biggie, but for lying yeah that sucks and the racial slur well on that note alone he should be banned, I can't stand that shit at all ! But it is a little late now to do it on that alone. I think that if anything you should send him a pm telling him that we are watching his posts and whatnot and if he messes up again IE racial slurs or lying, then banning would be the action taken against him.

I agree with eric on this one. If we were goin to ban him we should have already done it. I can't stand the fact that he has to lie to sell a gun. I think we should stand by the fact that we DO NOT get involved in the selling of guns on our web site. gun_nut has done nothing wrong except for the fact that he is lying everywhere else about what is done to the gun. We could try to find the gun on ebay and try to get people not to buy the gun by posting questions on ebay askin the hard q's that he has no answers for.
i have had issues with that guy for sometime. He behavior on the boards is always rude and given recent issues with him, i vote to ban his ass.

I like the public thread that was posted about him explaining what he did, and I think that went a long way towards resolving the problem. Sacair members got a chance to weigh in, and some were more angry than others, but all were duly informed of what went on. Now people can judge his actions for themselves and think twice about buying something from him again (I know I would).
there is a disclamer on the site that says sacair is not reponsible for what happens during a private sale. The only way we can ban him is for the racial slurs thats about it. If he wants to lie about his guns thats fine, as long as he does it somewhere else. If he does it on here i can understand people getting pissed off. But no one is effected here. Someone got paid and the other person got the gun. A warning is the best idea for now and yes granted if anything happens later further action will be taken.
I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your input in regards to this matter. All of you have definately taught me something . I was actually dead set on one idea, but by the time I read everyone elses posts, I modified my opinion. Its nice to see that I can learn something new and see the viewpoint of others. I think You should warn him, tell him what will happen if he does it again. If he does ban his ip and name. We may get unluckey and his ip may change all the time but you never know. About his selling on ebay we cant get into that. If he is selling on the site and not being truthful kill the post.

like ray said he was banned by name but not by IP. I talked to mike to night and he said that we can't ban by IP because he uses a couple of different ones that can't be banned
BS - he is simply skipping around to various computer labs - ban him by IP enough times, and he will stop trying. :twisted:
