new battery ideas

Dec 1, 2005 5:38am
so this weekend im going to get a cqb front end (m733 barrel, ris, new ironsights, delta rings) and im in quite a pickle. since the ris cannot fit a battery i was looking for other options. i know that you can get a peq for the battery, or a crane stock, or a battery bag, but i was wondering if there is an alterniatve to these options. is there a special battery that will fit in the ris foregrip? and if anybody has a ris and m733 outerbarrel with delta rings and such, for cheaper that $135 new at aex, please let me know. Thanks for the unput guys

try using a li-po battery. 7.4v 2100mah will run you around 40-50.

you could always buy a battery bag. They are like 15-25 dollars and you put a battery inside this cloth thing and connect it anywhere on the gun w/ velcro straps. Personally i like it alot more to PEQ boxes. Check AirsoftExtreme.com (AEX's website) and look around... on the site its called an external battery bag and its $17.50( i think) from the online store.

He doesnt want a crane stock or peq. So something tells me that a flippin battery bag is out of the question.

yea, thats the problem. first, im very new at dremeling, and i have seen the li-po batteries. i heard that it boosts you rof like crazy. what do i have to upgrade from a stock m4 to be able to handle that rof. i would much rather put the battery in the foregrip, but i guess if its in the crane stock it would be more balanced with the weight of the ris in front. so i guess ill get the crane. anybody have a crane stick they wanna sell?

theres one way that no one thought of. you can get the ics ready mag system, and a mag "shell" and fit a battery in that.
