yes the prices to build in folsom can be very high but in south sac/elk grove the price for land is cheep especially in south sac. pluse you dont even have to build a new building if you lease or buy the one that the sams club is in on stockton blvd. there is pleanty of space for anything you could possibally want to do and enough parking space for everyone on sacair to come and play. just charge like $10 to get in money for rentals maybe a season pass. there is even a food area set up so you can charge for snacks. that location seemed best to me because its within a 20-40min dirvivg time of almost all of sac and its right next to hwy 99.

Ok well like i said i am working on it. It will take a while but at least it is a project that I am trying to make a reality. Thanks for the feed back.

Two of my money backers decided they did not want to be a part of it. So I am currently looking for other backers. So until I have at least three serious backers my dream is dead. RIP my airsoft facility. Any one know CPR for lack of money??

but theres still insurance and costs of how much it would be to br a profitable business. Have you considered how to charage per person? I would not mind, paying a monthly or yearly subscription fee to play, even make a airsoft repair/ dealer showroom to promte people to come in and play.

we had an indoor paintball facility with only one speedball field (it was still sick tho) but the realy cool thing was that it was INSIDE the mall. it was about the size of a clothing store. they had a snack bar and all. it was pretty nice. HOWEVER they shut down after some moron put a frozen paintball in his gun and it hit some guy in the throat.....ive frozen em and shot a mask on a fencepost with it... it broke the lense, so as you can imagine getting hit with the equivalent of a 250FPS marble in the adams apple. yea it was bad the guy aolmost died and the place closed down. do you have to take some peoples outrageous stupidity into account.

Yes I understand about the insurance needs. I had a huge plan but two of the money backer have backed out so it is dead for at least a year or two. Like I said I am sorry.

atleast you tried...... would be really cool if we started an "unofficial" place, say in someone's backyard. Someone with atleast a good 1-2 acres would be fine. Then fro there i am sure we could start a donation fund or something to get it moving.

what if you try to appeal to the owners of AEX. think about it tm has their own facility in japan to service their costomers and with the money from buissness partners like AEX you should be able to get your dream airborne. the only thing you need that i can think of is a rock solid proposial that would include several highly possible locations in sac and/or the bay area, a petition with no less than say 1000 signatures, and have the ground work laid down for day to day operations, how many employees, prices to get in so on and so forth. just a thought.

that would be so awesome, I wear a facemask anyway so i wouldn't carre. It would be hard to find a place though, but I'd so go!

That would be really great and im sure all the people in sacairsoft would support you :D. But money is always and issue. A plus is you cant freeze bb's.

1,000 signatures would be extremely easy to get if you post one up from sacairsoft. Ny the way, talking to the AEX owners about getting a course set up isn't a bad idea...
