Custom fabrication or threading?

Dec 5, 2005 4:58am
I wanna put a silencer on my mp5, but I don't know where to find an adapter for this and I don't wanna "ghetto rig" it, so does anyone know where I could have some custom threading or something done to accomodate it? Cheers!

My home boy Andy(Andrew) wanted to do that a couple years ago. The cheapest 14mm- threaded die he found was 65$ even with buying through the school metal shop. Is it worth it? You may try a muffler shop(private owned not like 30min muffler) or a car shop that will have what you need. Id say just go on WGC and buy the adaptor.

you may wana see if somebody can tap and die it. buti dont know if its even possible for an airsoft gun. if you dont know what that means, it means threading it, but only tap or dye mean it, i just cant remeber what one.

I have a better idea. What kind of MP5 is it? If its a TM or CA you can find threaded barrel lugs pretty darn easy. BUT, since that picture is from shortyusa, i have a sneaking suspicion that it is not a higher end gun.
