Torque Up

Dec 5, 2005 6:36am
ok so heres the deal, i think i partially fried my motor (half of one coil isn't shiney anymore). I bought it with no fuse so no need to frag me for that, but long story short the connections are soldered on my AUG to the motor and they're getting a little thin and a bare wire accidently touched the gearbox and sparks flew for a split second. No biggie i was thinking about getting a new motor anyway.

Assuming that you gears are not 'binding' up.. you can use an EG750 and it will work fine with your M100 spring. If you use a Systema super torque up motor..

Well, it could be a while. My stock TM gears in my G36 went out after literally 50,000 bb. That's of course my gun was totally stock...

i think the gears were binding up right after it happened, the reason i say i think is i'm not positive i had a full charge on my battery... i had to do a quick charge job on them the night before and i don't have a voltmeter. But when i had time the next week i charged the batterys and sat there while they charged till the light went off on the charger and they were warm. The gun worked fine then perferating the cardboard box on my floor.

If there is 'any' play on the gears... it puts extra 'stress' on the motor, fuse, etc..
