as long as thier 6mm bbs they will shoot. What FPS does your gun shoot? if it shoots 400 with .20 then .30s will shoot about 315fps and if your hop is good enough will get pretty good range, not be effected by wind too much, but most of all have much better brush penetration at higher distances than a standard 6mm .20g bb

iit's a stock CA m15a4 rifle so maybe shooting 320 with 20's

too low fps to make use of the high weight BBs, it would shoot maybe 240fps with them, not too much range in comparison to say .25, thats probably your best BB

so i should maybe get a 110 spring? just so i can play CQB and what not. Are spring hard to put in?

I think theres a rulse at to how many FPS a gun could shoot with .20 bb's..If your gun is shooting 350 FPS(typical CQB limit),with those .30's,then its probably gunna shootint a mear 380-400 FPS with .20's.They should have a mag ready for chronoing with .20 bb's,jsut to catch any cheaters.Thats what we did at the WestCoastWarwarez field. For a CQB field, you would want to use .25 bb's.They're real accurate, and your gun should still shoot hard with it in stock form.If you do upgrade your gun, theres a chance that CQB fields wont allow you to play with that gun, unless you have a velocity reducer..

I personally would suggest you stay away from metal bbs in general. They like to tear the hopup bucking a lot and can sometimes then bounce n' rattle through a non-tightbore causing it to dent the barrel as it goes through.

^ non sense on the denting.... dont think so on the tearing the hop either, nothing more than normal BBs

It happened when my friend used it in his APS2. Tore a new one through the bucking then vibrated through the barrel. Small dents in the barrel and the bucking had a new channel in it. Took it to a guy who locally sells and repairs airsoft guns and he said that the metal line of bbs don't have any of the give the standards do and can cause large incidents with guns. most people either get a hard bucking or use a hopless gun with these. Seemed very plausible since it was working fine with .25 KSCs.

funny becuase I have shot hundreds of metal BBs through my tanaka 98k ive had for over 2 years now and its hop is so damn powerful still.

In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
