If i were to buy one of these http://www.bulletproofme.com/Riot-Shields.htm would i be able to use it at A.Z.?.... or any of the larger outdoor games?

One you would have to use a pistol if you wanted to use that and two thats a lot of crap to carry for AZ its pretty tight in there. I wouldnt see a problem with it, but you would have to ask one of the people that runs it.

i doubt it would be allowed, it seems to me like going to a game as bubble boy

ya i kno, but it looks so damn cool!.... and i would probably use a gas pistol. So me having a tactical shield would be a plus, but on the other hand, i would be using a pistol.

"To stop a bullet you need a Tactical Ballistic Shield - but to stop the impact of rocks, bricks, bottles, sticks, etc., a Riot Shield is a lightweight and inexpensive solution. Also stops splash hazards and low velocity fragments. Ideal for Riot Police, Corrections, Cell Extraction, etc., etc."
Gun control is not Crime control.

While playing in a recent game with a few of my friends, I came across a 2' wide by 3 1/2' long by 1' thick block of styraphome. One side had a bunch of holes in it. Because I was only armed with a GBB and a spring shotgun on a sling at the time, I picked it up and began employing it as a shield. It was pretty cool and worked well enough to deflect or absorb bbs from several stock AEGs at moderate to close ranges (outside of 20 feet). Might be a good alternative.
Operational is when you get reports of gunfire in the area.
