It's counter clockwise.. righty loosey. and yeah, i think there's loctite on there..

use a lighter. worked for my brothers. after it gets hot, CCW with allen wrench till little screw comes out. if its hard to get off from there stick a small screw driver or allen wrench through the flash hider's side openings and twist clockwise.
