Just wondering what everyone thought about these guns.
i heard these guns have great build quality and extremely good kick. the downside of them was that the guns use so much gas for the strong kick that they get hella cold real quick thereby decreasing your ability to rapidly fire them. double taps i hear work great but if you do more than that quickly it'll jam up or just shoot poorly. im just going on what ive heard/read, but they seem like good quality guns if you use em with the right gas and you keep em clean. fps i think runs about 310-320. but im not completely positive, its possible my facts could be slightly off.
I bought a couple. One for my Dad one for Father's day and one as a loner. They're basically a copy of the TM Hi-Capa but both the slide and the frame is metal. Peter at Guns n'Guys said they are made by HFC, and the heavy weight is based on high lead content in the alloy. At 80 degrees shooting AE .20's I chrono'd it at 290-310fps. I then left the mag it the sun and it shot 330-340fps. After four shots it blew the 0-ring off the piston (I've heard TM's do that too). The replacement that Poweredge sells fits.

i bought a hi-capa dragon nice piece really is full metal. Only problem is like stated above they go through gas like no other cools the mag down really fast. Truth be told i'd buy one anyways in my mind it was a small sacrafice to make i love the pistols.
I had one for about a week, and it was a good sidearm. I bought mine from the downtown JT for $100, and $30 for a spare mag (you can get either the CO2 or the GG for the same price). My dumbass bought the floor model, and well, I returned it within a week seeking repairs (the hop-up bucking was torn).
thanks for the inbfo I too have been looking at getting one. What other mags fit into it? Or is it just their mags.

the wa mag style of course since thats who makes the gun, however mauri mags work the best in my opinion as i'm used to seeing a tiny bit of gas spout out of the mag when its full the wa mags are very difficult to tell if they are completely full or only partially as they don't release gas when filled up.
Don't you mean WE? I thought Western Aarms mags will not work with any other GBB except for Western Arms (WA). But from what I've heard the Marui Mags will work with the WE but not the other way around. The WE co2 seems intriguing but to have to carry around the little co2 powerlets plus the mags is a bit much to do for tactical reloads. And they just came out with a 4.3 hicapa too.

It's been speculated that WE uses at the least, WA GBB systems into another frame with another label. Cool down effects are a major complication of metal systems since metal is more receptive to temperatures than plastic is.
My personal opinion, the gun is worth the money, got mine from 101airsoft
Someone try putting the TM mags in the WE gun, I am curious as to see if this might alleviate the cooldown problem a bit (from what I've gathered, the stock WE mags have hi-flows in them already).
interesting I never heard that before about the WA internals being used inside the WE...may have to pick one up to find out
