Yeah i was reading up about this somewhere. I guess if you totally disassemply your gun after you are done and dry it out, and if you water proof all your electrical connections you are fine.

So we have a few wet weapons that might be ruined. + And an actor that can't act. = A stupid idiot.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

Even if I had a water-proof gun, I sure as hell wouldn't be sloshing around in the water during a game... I'd rather not be completely soaking-wet in my BDU's and vest (which would weigh a TON when wet, I'm sure) for the whole day... :?
Gun control is not Crime control.

I say if theres no water then its only half as fun. SPECWAR loves the water. and if I could I would waterproof my gun and use a reed and pop up on unsuspecting fools. oh did I say I really like to play in the water!!!!!!

Water is good, I'd be interested to see someone really take the time to dissasemble their weapon and waterproof it. Call it nerdy, but its habit, I love the water. Water can be a most affective asset in the right situations.

Water assaults are fairly hard to do and require special training in swim techniques so you do not drown from your equipment load and don't splash or move irratically that would cause a disturbance that might get your spotted. Most of the gun is water resistent proof anyways. If these guns use a motor similar to that of an RC car then water shouldn't harm it or the wiring at all. The only part on an RC you're supposed to really seal up is the battery compartment. You don't want the battery to short from the water. To solve this you can spray on a rubber outter shell onto the battery and connectors and that should work fine. Just make sure that the wires are insulated thuroughly and that none of the cells are exposed. I don't personally know though on how the grease for the gears and the lube would hold up. Not to mention the bucking or those with iron barrels.
