major noob
ok so im new to airsofting i bougth an m15a4 c.q.b. and a kwa g26 gbb(i've noticed when the clips go through a lot of gas when they get cold is there a way to prevent this?) and i was wondering waht else i need to play and also if we are notified when games are or if you just have to check the events forum im just curious cuz i live in fair oaks and it'd suck to drive out to go play and no one be there
u got into airsoft way to fast...lol u have a GBB and a nice AEG and u havent been to one game yet. just pay atention to events and usually we meet at BK before we headout to field just look at FAQ they give u directions to Burger King. take it easy

welcome to saciar...good starter guns you got. yeah, just watch for a topic starting with "[sacair]". these are all games that are happening in the next week or two. hope you find this a great website to use. also, i hope you can meet some great epople(acutally, all the people on sacair are great people.) at games.now with the mag thing getting cold and all...there really isnt anything you can do about that. it just does that because green gas is a compressed gas, and most compressed gasses come out cold when compressed...unless it gets too cold, the coldness wont affect use. if it gets too cold, it may hold less gas, or hold none at all...not too sure, but when i shot outside in the cold, it held about half the usual gas it should, and only went through one mag, when it could easily go through 1 1/2 more.
yup thats about it, just check out the events section, there is a game this saturady. YOur mags get cold becasue you expelling compressed gas thorugh them and thats what happens. the coldness you get is a matter of physics. so yupu thats it, and welcome to sac air :D

I have a TM p90, UTG mp5 ( mine's working fine with no problems,), TM M3 Super 90, KSC glock18c, HFC Desert Eagle GBB, A simple tac vest, Util belt and BDUs and boots. I haven't been to a single event or large game yet. Just screwing around in the forests around here with friends.
if want better accuaracy go with the m16 or ak, if u want another cqb gun go with the p90.

hey thanks guys the help was appreciated, and when i start something i usually go balls out so yah it just appeared to me when i shot the gun fast it went through a lot more gas but it could be cuz im a nub but yah im gonna try to make it out there this weekend if i can get some more bb's and gas

no the reason why when u shoot ur GBB fast is the magazine has whats called cool down because its Co2...basically when you shoot fast the mag gets cold cuz the xpanding gases and ur gun shoots like crap....you just have to shoot slower or u can shoot fast but have to wait for ur mags to get warmed up again( cuz they will be freezing cold due to the c02)

mr itallian boy...its not Co2 and like 3 people have told why his mag gets cold, its called Green Gas(most of them are green gas) or he may be using propane but i doubt it

it still has the same cool down effects as co2....and it need to be turned into a gas like co2...technically ur right...but there is lil diff bewteen them

lol no need to fight guys ;) no it wasnt a matter of me not understanding the cool down affect i was just wondering if that is what actually made the mags not work as well which i now better understand so thanks
All of these gases are concidered refrigerants and are stored in liquid form. The more they move around the colder they get in liquid form. When introduced to warm air they quickly warm up causing the liquid to expand into a gas which in turn, causes a small explosion like effect of the now gas form trying to diffuse into the air properly. The mag feels cold because you are now moving the liquid around a bit which causes it to get excited a bit ( not like sexual excitement,) and will actually turn into gas and back into liquid due to the compression holding it in liquid form. When you shoot it temporarily looses that compression and will gas up a bit and then the compression returns and forces the small bit that is still gas into a liquid state again.
