I've been thinking of picking up a shotgun for some time now. I was wondering if they make any that are loud though because all the ones I tried where pretty quiet (including gas ones). I know most people would want quieter guns but I figured it would be cool to have a loud shotgun.
the gas maruzen m1100 is decently loud cause its a gbb and you can hear the metal bolt flying back and forth. other than that though i don't think you're gonna find very loud sounding shotties. the tm ones are springers and aren't that loud...neither are the maruzen springer shotties. the maruzen m870s definitely sound wimpy and I'm pretty sure the marushin m500's are pretty quiet too...
What's a signature?
chris is right, although the Marushin M500s shoot 3 - .34g 8mm bbs hard as hell. The M1100 shoots about 7 .2g BBs pretty hard and the M870 sucks on power(i have an 870, friend had the 1100, shot a m500 at AEX)... the M500 also has the nicest body and feel, no shells to deal with either...
I've got an M500. Way too hot for gameplay. But it's an awesome gun if you want a realistic feel. The whole thing is metal from end to end, and it's loud and powerful. It chronographed around 365 fps with propane on a hot day. That was with 1.02g worth of bb's. I nearly tore a soda can in half with the pulls of the trigger...
