AEX Santa Clara Sucks
What can I say, I dropped off my M-93R for repairs in late AUGUST. It is now almost late December. WTF is uf with that? I can see 1, maybe 2, but FOUR FRIGGIN MONTHS? Come on man! Nevermind that the more you are willing to spend, the better service you get. I have had issues with thier upgrades and services, though I must admit that thier tech, Jeremy, is a cool guy. I would avoid that place. I don't think that i'll be going back after I get my 93 from them.
you know they get alot of guns dropped off daily to be fixed have you tried contacting them first to remind them that they have your gun and whats the hold up?
weeeee.... don't take things too seriously it's bad for your health.....
From my experience, you are going to need to go there and get on their ass about it.
well that sucks ramone...they should have done the call the day you dropped it off...but hey i give aex some credit for even having time to do work. on sale days, its crouded(well at least every time i go in there it is) so yeah im just not sure about that.

Ok Ronin, KNUCKLE UP!
+1, AEX has allways been good to me, and as far as upgrades go..they built an SVD for me a few years back...490FPS and it still works flawlessly...MG is holding togather and has the highest ROF i have ever seen......have had 7 or so AEGs over the years done by them with basic upgrades and never a prob.
My friend had a similar situation. His hop-up in his AUG broke and he brought it to Santa Clara (this was before Oakland opened up) and left it with them. After a month he called them back and they said, "Oh we didn't get any from Japan, but we're expecting some soon." So he waited another two months. Then he got pissed and just went there himself and took his gun back because they hadn't done anything to it. He ordered a new hopup online from some other store and found someone else to install it for him. That took less than 2 weeks.
"If today is a good day to die, then how bad could it be to live today?"
yes and ronnie gives me a special servicing after he services my barrel.
I went there for my first M4 upgrade. They were very timely about upgrading, but I was a little disappointed that they removed the plastic part that covers the hop-up area...
Gun control is not Crime control.

Ive bought several guns from AEX now (4 to be exact). All of which have been modified with a very very fast turn around time (if not in front of me). Prices are great, service is kickass, selection is amazing. Guys stationed here on my base have ordered rifles from RedWolf and other online shops, and when the had problems they couldnt get customer service. AEX has a 30 day warrenty (I think...done quote me) on their AEG's. I had a faulty battery and I was able to bring it right back. All the guys that work there are knowledgeable and hella chill, and the owner is a kickass guy to play and kick it with too. I think if you would have called and expresssed a concern, and took it up with their management, or further up their Chain of Command, you would have gotten better results....then flaming a good shop on the forums, just my .02
I live basicly down the street from AEX, and the guys, from my experance, are more than willing to help you get EVERTHING you need for your gun, without trying to sell ya stuff you don't need. Though...theres one guy who kinda gives you shit when you ask questions...with the feeling of " wtf? you should know this already newbie. "
Like K12azy13astard says, there are one or two employees that seem to get upset answering questions (I've heard the same comments too many times to discount them, plus I've seen it in person), but on the other hand, other employees are very patient and friendly, kind of like many a retail establishment.
i personally love AEX when my m-15 broke i took it in, that moring and it was fixed the SAME day.
