My brother is looking to buy the Classic Army M15A4 Tactical Carbine from Airsoft extreme. Comes with 2 hicaps, battery and sling for 350 shipped. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on these CA guns, i heard the new ones are a lot better quality than the old ones. Thanks

I have one except that everything is TK. Made it my self. Before they even came out with theres I would like to add. Not trying to be all stuck up about it or nothin. It is a sweat set up. You have the ability to move freely in CQB yet the distance for out doors.
Quick clarification question, i read a review for the CA m4a1 here
http://www.planetairsoft.net/review-cam4a1.htm and it talked about how unreliable it is. The internals of that m4 are completly different from the m15a4 right? My brother doesnt want some horribly unreliable gun.
that CA that you linked to is an earlier version of the gun...I think v2. The m15a4's are v4 and they've corrected many of the problems with the v2 guns. People always say that the m15a4's "are lightyears beyond the previous versions". If you read down a bit though in this forum section...you'll see what I think about the m15. Yes they are pretty kick ass guns but you might still run the risk of getting a lemon since CA's QC, although better, isn't as good as marui's. My piston was messed up from the get go, along with the hop up (actually a very common problem in CA guns...it wouldn't adjust correctly but a new bucking fixed that) and some of the insulation on the wires was torn. But once I replaced those parts...everything was cool and it performs really well.
What's a signature?
the M15 is a great gun, the only problem that I had with mine was that I had to replace the piston and the piston head, and also the magazine catch. but if you spend like $50 bucks into getting that stuff the CA's are a great gun.
My M15 is also great no problems except the mag catch. I have the M15A4 RIS. Out of box 330fps. I have upgraded the spring and have had no problems at all.
