i was the filairsoft site and found this:
bad hopup sleeve perhaps. PDI 190 should give one about 480 fps. I've noticed that the hopup sleeve for the m14 is slightly smaller then other aeg's. You need a harder sleeve to keep it from getting warped from shooting at 400+ fps

first thing would be to rule out the "stupid" stuff like 1) there may be a problem with the chrono and 2) make sure he's chronoing with .2s
