What kind of performance difference do you notice between the plastic and metal slides (gas usage, cycling rate etc)? I'm thinking about sellin my glock and gettin a P226

being able to use green gas without worrying about breaking ur gun is always nice - mostly its cosmetic and balance. it just feels so much nicer full metal.

I have a full metal 226 as well. Only complaint is that because the metal frame is so heavy, the blow back really burns gas. I am rarely ever able to empty the full mag.

ya, i agree. You do lose a lot of gas durring blowback with the metal kit installed. But i must say after installing the metal kit it sounds just like a real steel sig! And the weight is almost the same. I would say my sig weights about the same as a real steel sig without the magazine in it. but yea, overall i LOVE the gun and its performance!!
