Not from what I hear man...I mean...airsoft is like paintball, in the scence it relays upon the person/people who have the guns. If the owners are mature enough to know that airsoft is a game, and that to outsiders, they look real.

Your best bet it to check out arniesairsoft.co.uk regarding the VRC bill they are currently fighting against. Perhaps you may find some useful information regarding the topic since they actually have a whole board sub-section dedicated to the cause.

well if you are talking about 6mm bb's, then no, no one has ever been killed by one...but i know of someone who shot their toe almost in half with a sniper rifle from about half a foot away...the most it will do it puncture skin, but not that far in...but if your talking about .177 cal. pellets for pellet rifles...then yes, you couls probably die from one...in Al, the day after i got one of those pistols for .177 cal., i saw in the paper that a kid got a pellet lodged in halfway into his body...if the surgeons moved the bb faster then they did, he would have died...oh and the kid who shot him was about 200ft. away from him...so if you shoot yourself with one, then i wouldnt be suprised that you would kill yourself.

you could just do a comparison to .177 cal bb's and pellets. Im sure there is some ballistic information on those.

yea a .177 WILL kill you. i have a .177 air rifle that i use for plinking, if it can kill a rabbit with ease it will go rite thru ur head. Ive seen it go through a 1inch diamiter tree at about 50 feet. on the other hand ive been shot by a super 9 airsoft gin with .25 bbs from about 10 feet....yes yes i have realy dumb friends. and all that did was give me a realy bad welt

Yeah, the only chance of dying from airsoft is if shot in the eye by a very powerful gun or full-autoed in the mouth and choking to death. The mouth one is very unlikely. As for the eye one, thats why you always wear eye protection.

lol super 9's are HELLA weak. ther the worst snipers u could possibley find
you can pay for school but you cant buy class

my g17 hits harder than a super 9.

I would think taking a bb up the nose could be fatal, if there was enough pressure behind it. Through the nostril, into the nasal cavity, into the brain between the eyes....
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

YES, Some death related to airsoft guns. But not from those plastic 6mm BBs.

To my knowlege no one has ever died as a result from being hit by a 6mm airsoft bb. the only way i can think of someone being killed by an airsoft gun is sucied by cop or if you run into a hospital and shoot someone during open heart suergery with the gun on full auto.

I have heard stories of people getting shot up the nostril from 20 ft. @ 400 fps. Outcome is a heavy bleeding and some swelling.

I have seen people have to push BBs out of thier face like popping a pimple from 350fps AEG at 3 feet lol

Last year some guy in LA County had a shoot out at a hotel with an Airsoft 8mm GGB pistol. During the shoot out 1 LAPD Officer was wounded, and another killed. Plus the gunman was killed. The cops accidently shot each other, lol....

To the very best of my knowledge and my imagination. The ONLY way that I can think of as how anyone in airsoft can be killed by an airsoft gun, is if an officer or another person shoots an airsoft player/handler thinking that the gun is real and the handler of the gun is a threat. tThey are designed to look and feel as authentic as possible. That I believe is any community's worry and that someone may brandish one in robbery or terror. Other than the guns themselves, I can't see how they can be modified to be lethal.

Brens are Neat, but I think in some cases your better off taking a bucket of Ammo and throwing it at the enemy once it gets a bit of temperature in it.....lol..Not all that accurate
