The way I see it is that there will probably be some available for a while. If I'm wrong then I'll wait for the TM. But I was thinking about it, and honestly do you think that 1000 people are going to want to spend about 1000 dollars to get that gun? (the reason I say 1000 is because of upgrades, and accessories) So if I'm wrong I'll just have to wait like everyone else, and probably save some money. If I'm right, then I'll get the AC M-14 when I get the cash.

Yeah, I was gonna pick one up from AC but that's when I thought they were using wood stocks and metal receiver/barrel assemblies...

From what I can tell they are using all metal construction, but the metal barrel that it comes with isn't great quality, that's why they offer the upgraded metal barrel. And in terms of wood, if I buy it I'm going to buy a wood stock off of cheaperthandirt.com and just make the necessary modifications to mount it.
