I got some flak from someone about that Flecktarn isn't woodland camo. I know the woodland camo your talking about is what the US Military uses., but beore I go out and spend another 70 bucks on BDUS I want to get this settled..I consider Fleckarn camo Woodland, and I wanna know if its ok to use it when someone says that one team is useing 'woodland" camo.

well... if it blendes u in w/ whatever ur playing in like brush, sand... its camo (at least i think so)

Sorry Josh I don't think it would be counted as woodland camo.Cousin, you have to spend $70 on a camo set! I got a desert set at my surplus store for about say about $40-50 on a good pair.What gives?

It is woodland. It doesn't matter if it is for another country. If they were to come over here they'd wear that. So its woodland.

but I am still woundering if that is alright for me to wesr that type of camo in a game where they ask people to wear woodland camos

I don't get how the US Woodland BDUs are "traditional".

well there traditional for the US in the last decade, but i dont think we should count flectar as woodland.

well if you say SEALs then yes its automatically a "duh!" for woodlands there, but if you say its deserts vs. woodlands then Flectarn is woodland. It should be a dead give if you give a reference.

Well being that lots of the OP's from this forum designate the "woodland" side as "seals" he probably should have US woodlands, correct...

I think flecktarn would be acceptable camo to use in a wooded environment. But for use as part of a "team uniform" it'd be up to the TL. So yes flecktarn is acceptable to use instead of "woodland BDUs" for camouflage purposes

just because its not "american woodlands" doesent mean that it is not "woodlands".

u odnt have to have camos but they are helpfull

I think Flecktarn should be allowed because in most of those "Woodland vs. Desert" games you only go by theater camo. I mean why not let Tropentarn on the Desert team?

man......pretty simple deal, if your camo is mostly green you should go on woodlands....brown/tan....other team. I wear ww2 SS camo to games and never any probs. If on par most players are so stupid they need total uniformity to tell one team from the other we are in trouble lol come on guys this is sacair...we dont roll like that....its all about freedom to wear WTF ever and have a good fukin time playing GI joe
