Uniforms and Tactical Gear
I was wondering...where do you guys get your uniforms and tactical gear from? How much are they? I was thinking about grabbing an OLIVE DRAB tactical fit because I figured that because of its greyish-green color that it would be suitable for a convenional airsoft skirmmish in pretty much any background (do you agree or disagree with this?). What kind of tactical gear would you guys recommend?
I keep it street.

the easiest and fastest way to get a hold of some bdu's would be to go to any local army/navy surplus store and buy them. They tend to be expensive when bought new. Look around on different fourm sites - people are ALWAYS selling/trading used and sometimes new bdu's at very reasonable prices. I would say pick up a pair of woodland bdu's. They work in multiple surroundings and at most airsoft games. Woodland is pretty much the universal color bdu's to wear. The only piece of tatical gear that i highly recommend you get is a vest. With a vest, set of bdu's and a weapon, you will be able to play in most games!

Auburn Army Navy for BDUs and DCUs and military type gear.
If your new to airsoft i would not recommend going to aex to get your gear. Although very nice quality, their gear is expensive. For a first-time airsofter such as yourself i would recommend either buying used gear or getting some cheaper/lower-quality gear from ebay/internet/surplus store/etc. Give yourself a couple of months to see if you really like airsoft and really want to "get into" it. At that point if you decide you love airsoft(like the rest of us) and want to continue to play, you can sell off your old gear and buy new, higher quality gear.

I shop online. The only B&M place I go to is Alameda Discount Center (mil surplus). I like online better because you can get brand new stuff at way cheaper prices than B&M surplus stores. Like at Alameda Discount Center a pair of Flecktarn pants is $15 for USED pants, online it's $8 for used, and $10 for new, and shipping is like $3.
