NEED HELP WITH M15 LOWER RECIEVER/GEARBOX

Feb 11, 2006 12:42am
hey everybody, i decided to dismantel my m15 today with no instructions or anything. the upper reciever was a piece of cake, barrel switching and all that good stuff, but im totally stuck on the lower reciever. just a note, im trying to rewire if from the full stock back to the front for a PEQ box. yes, that will include cracking open the gearbox, which i have also never done, so any help on how to get from here to where i need to be would be great. thanks!
And shephards we will be.

i can help take off the stock the clip eject button the handel and the little metal pin going though the gun :D then the meckbox just pulls out. :D

Really Really bad idea. I tried to open the gear box myself to save some money and ended up destroying my gun. Leave the gear box to the PROS at aex. Just my 2 cents

Feb 11, 2006 12:56am
the two small screws need to come off to get the pistol grip off. I would just bring it to AEX if I were you.
Ok Ronin, KNUCKLE UP!
Feb 11, 2006 12:57am

And shephards we will be.

Although I recently took my M14 to AEX and have had them do several guns... and will again... I say.... POO on them. I have opened up a M4 and an AK myself. An M4 is ez. If you can pick your nose without poking out your eye, you should be able to do it. Ignore all them who don't want you to learn... it may be an expensive lesson  But if you never do anything because your afraid to fail, you'll sure never accomplish anything either.
