ok i have a ni-cad 1800mah i want a good charg so should i charge it on .5 amps 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 amps

I charge at 3 amps for my 9.6 1700.

Same. 3 Amps. I dont know how long it will take. Does your charger have an auto cut-off?

its not mine but yes it does

I usually go .5 amps per cell. 8 cell= 4.0 amps, 7 cell=3.5 amps etc.. My batteries have been fine.
