M4

I'm not a noob of anything, but I cant decide between the m4 tactical, and the carbine. I like having the battery in the stock, but which one do you guys think?

what brand are you looking at? i guess CA.

src has a carbine with the crane stock or better yet is CA's cqbr with the crane stock. It'll give you the best of both worlds. However, this is one of those questions that will never have a definitive answer since it's all a matter of preference and can be debated upon forever.

Solid stocks rock

I myself prefer a full-stock due to the fact of having large batteries. My gf has the small guns and comparing the battery size and it's limitations, I love full stock all the way even though I think the retractables are sexy. It's all what you prefer.

i bought one with a retractable and i have been looking for a full stock for a while. I myself would definently go full stock. Retractables look better, feel better on your shoulder &can be adjusted for cqb or aiming down sites is a nice goodie. Even with all that in mind, i still prefer having a large battery in a full stock. Dunno why but crane stocks look ugly to me.

So far the adjustable stock on my m733 is great. I at first didn't like them but it grew on me. I figure if I need that large battery I can just put on a top rail and get a PEQ box+ laser combo put on top. Should look pretty snazy too.

Ive got a CA CQB and i love the crane stock, you get the best of both worlds. If I couldnt afford a crane stock I would get a full stock. Sacair doesnt really have a cqb feild where we are fighting inside. And even when we do fight inside we usually use pistols, so the restractacle stock is really that mush of a help. So i would go with the full stock.

i would get the tactical,,,,the full stock is great. It can hold a big battery, and isn't too front heavy, or back heavy

if your over 5'10" i would go with whatever you want but if you are shorter than that a collapable stock will fit you better

I have a TM M4A1 with a Guarder mettle frame, CA RIS front grip,a and a mosquito molds mini launcher. The thing is front heavy. To balance the weight I went with a crane stock with battery pack. The crane stock comes in handy if you got a spare one with the battery pack built-in for quick battery change, but those packs are expensive.
