M14 help
Alright, I have a TM M14, and I want to upgrade it. I was thinking of putting a tight bore barrel and a M120 into it. But I don't know how the gearbox will withstand it. I am fairly new to aisoft, and i don't want to break my new gun. Does anyone know if a TM M14 can be upgraded with a M120 without the gearbox in anyway breaking? Thanks for taking time to read my post.

just upgrade both. It would make it better, durable, in the long run.

I'm not sure if it is out yet, but you should look for an upgraded gear set when using that strong of a spring. You will obviously want to upgrade to metal bushing too. BTW, with an M120 in that gun, you will be shooting well over 400. So it may not be cool for sacair games.

I stuck a m110 spring in my m14 and it shot 420fps so with the m100 you should be up to about 360fps (stock = 300fps). They have reinforced spur gears available now, however noone has made any complete gear sets that changes the gear ratio. Guarder should have reinforced gear sets available within the next couple of months.

Hey guys, just saw this post and wanted to share what I've found with this gun.
how's the hop treating you with the higher fps? The Phoenix springs are rated by mps right? So the Phoenix 130 should be equivelant to a systema m130.

Hop stands up well to the higher velocity. Still very accurate.
