Some dumbshit kid ran around a school campus with an M9 airsoft pistol today. One of the SWAT members shot him, now he's in critical condition. If I lose my ability to play airsoft legally, I'll shoot him too.

The child threatened the police officer with it, I doubt the parents' have any kind legal recourse. Most likely they purchased the springer, which ultimately means that they are the ones responsible.

well as the cop there are a few things you have to do before you pull the triger..of course you only get about .02 seconds to decide all of this but its all in the manuanel. swat 101 dont quote me im no expert but i do know a thing or two. first is use of force quick and dirty you have to asses three areas sometimes four depenting on your deparment.

The last thing they need to do is blame this 'crime' on our sport. Many suicidal people choose the Death-By-Cop route, and not all of them use airsoft pistols...

Whoa! I thought I was the first to post about this. Looks like I'm a little slow. Anyhoo, Like I mentioned in my other post, I know that this is going to raise all types of political awareness, and towards the negative. We need to hold are ground that WE and our mock guns are not the problem. That would be like blaming car manufacturers for the victims killed in car accidents.

As a former police officer let me dispell two myths. One- Bean Bags do not work. I know what the media has said and the programs that show them working. Think about it the people they were "demonstrating" on were actors or other who did not want to fight in the first place. Secondly the only thing I have even seen the bean bags do is really piss off someone who is already pissed off. it sounds harsh but for that one monet when you are face to face with a person with a gun and inside a few feet....you pull the trigger.
