I would be absolutly shocked if they did a positive story like that in the US. I think the admins were going to invite some local news crews to one of the games but decided that they would not show things in a truthful light.

well its just so tricky trying to show airsoft in a good light for the simple fact that we live in california...just look at the current gun laws not to mention it is the mass media wed be trying to deal with. if it was possible you would have to

I wish it could be done. But the media would probably promise us a positive image and then air a very negetive story. I think it would be better to keep a low profile while we can. But some day we might be forced to open up a game to the media just to save the sport in California.

well i oculdnt view what ever u posted but im guessing it wa ssomething good aobut airsoft. I dont know i disagree that keeping in the shawdows is good idea, one thing i have noticed in history is that when you hide something for fear of what lies ahead you have worst consquenses in the long run. But when you come forward right off and show that you have nothing to hide its can SOMETIMES be better. I know that its not always the case, but i feal that in our nausiatingly anit gun state this may be for the better, but i may be tottaly wrong.

My uncle is a producer for one of the news stations up here in sac, i think its abc but i cant remember, im gonna show him the news piece the new zealanders ran and ask him if his station might be interested in running a similar piece about airsofters in this area. Hes a really cool guy he wouldnt mess with the footage or show us in a negative light, watcha think

i liked the video. i agree with people that think that airsoft should keep a low profile. it is never a good idea for irresponsible kids running around with toy guns. who was it again that talked about the 6-9 year olds shooting around in his backyard w/o eye protection?

But anyway that sounds like a good idea but i dont think we should, us people like, me, swat monkey, d80 and every one else i cant think of cant go because we are under age and will look bad. But then get people like jimmy ronie and guys like thn and it would look good.
