ok so i took off the ris unit and took the pins out from the front site but the front site wont come off still and i cant finish taking off the barrel cuz the bent metal tube thingy is still attached how do i finish taking this thing apart so i can put on my new barrel
what about the bolts/screws that hold the gun together
"that's ghetto"
ok basically i have the entire front part removed from the back part i removed the pins to take off the front site but its not budging and i took off the ris from the front part and now i dont know what to do
check to make sure that there isnt a screw in the bottom of the sight, cuz i pulled off some ironsights, and found a screw that held it of. of course i found it after the sight was off
ok i got the sight off there was a screw and i got the metal bar off now how do i get the last part off that hold the barrel into the top half of the reciever
well what kind of gun is it, because from your description, it sounds like a m4, but what brand?
that part can be taken off with a wrench (large adjustable wrench) or you can go to aex, and theyll do it for ya. it just unscrews. make sure you dont try to unscrew it around the barrel, but the delta rings (whatever the ring is inside the delta right, the thing with teeth that looks like a sproket)
but that part is still attached to barrel so i dont turn sproket while its on the barrel how do i get it off then
no, you loosen that sproket part to take it off. im just saying to loosen the sprocket, not the barrel to take it off
oh ha ok got it thnks man, im such a nub
