How hard would it be to upgrade a vsr-10 spring, can I do it myself or do I need to have a pro do it. I figure it would be easy, I dont have the gun yet, but I will in a few days, I ordered a spring with it, a 120 how would I install it?

Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
Thanks Blain, you the man, I will check it out.

You'll need to drill the stainless steel pin that keeps you from removing the cylinder head. I did mine freehand on a sandbag, but a drill press is about 10,000 times easier if you have access to one.
The drilling was what I was curious about, after drilling out the screw I will unscrew the cylinder head? After that do I just take out the spring and replace it with another one? Would you advise removing the real shock weights for added fps?

it's actually a pin about +/- 2 mm across. Yes, after you drill that out, you'll be able to remove the cylinder head. It's a lefty-loosey thread. I used a pair of vise-grips or channel locks (get the picture? I spend all my money on guns, hell with all that 'right tool for the job' bs) to remove the cylinder head.
Hey thanks, that helps alot, I will get those parts over time. Probably when I upgrade to a 150 spring, which shouldnt be too long, thats probably as high as I will go with it. I may even leave it alone if I like it. Thanks again, I will PM you when I get it done. Thanks
