My friend has a WE M1911 and for some reason the cocking mechanism goes up to soon when firing and makes it so the gun doesnt fire, so I took a metalfile to the hammer and shved it off so the slide doesnt catch it anymore and now the gun just unloads everything it has in the clip on one trigger pull
jus take it to AEX. or you could just call them and ask your question.
"that's ghetto"
yea, that same thing happened to my we hi cappa. and i filed the part the hammer was catching on and now i have the same problem.
It sounds like your hammer was mis-aligned and might be actually in a state to where it hits the valve but doesn't disengage because it's still technically stuck in the down position now. Try to FULLY disassemble the gun and then reassemble it together again and see if that fixes the problem. It sounds like it's set slightly to the side so when it goes forward it hits the valve goes back a little but gets caught and the spring pushes it back forward the reengage the valve again. Happend on my friend's HFC m190.
My friend is having the same problem with his WE... :?
Gun control is not Crime control.
Pull the slide back with your hand while looking at the side of the gun. It sounds like you filed so much that the hammer isnt being pushed back enough by the slide to lock it back. So when you fire it, the hammer doesnt latch and bounces off of the firing pin as soon as the slide returns forward. Thus giving you "complete" full auto.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
if richieboys idea doesnt work for ya i strongly suggest going to AEX thats where i go for all the troubles that happen to my guns
