i just got a WE hi-cappa 5.1 government model. and when it fires the forst 3-4 shots normally. but after that the rounds stop firing. The slide kicks back and it fires only gas. and when you cock it again it fires another 3-4 rounds. and this keeps happening any ideas how to fix it or whats happening? :?:
yea i have a simmilar problem. with my we hi cappa.
try lubing up the O rings and the hold on the top of the mag where the gas comes out (maybe a few drops in the hole). Does the slide lock back like when its empty?
no its the extreme high flows in the gun chamber its self you need to shoot slower or change out your high flow valves in the gun it gets cold and stops firing properly if you shoot slow it doesnt happen i have a we hicappa stryker it also helps to use tm clips theyre better quality.

ok. ill get the TM mags as you said. i was going to anyways but now i have a real reason to. however i was shooting it slowly, like one shot oer evrey 3-4 secs. cuz i thought it was that i was shooting too quickly. it also probably has something to do with it being 40 degrees out with 35mph winds. but that could just be me :roll:
the cold has a really bad affect on gas for some reason but the best thing to do is shoot slow and try to change out the high flows in the gun dont know much else you can do i dont play feild games indoors only for me i shoot only when necessary so i havent changed out my valves yet probably going to but it can be a pain in the ass in a tight situation

yea im not realy gonna use it a lot in games only as a backup. but im not going to be able to get an AEG untill may, because of some stupid thing with my parents. but yea i was just shooting at a couple targets to see how well it worked.
