I guess I'm gonna be on the other side of this one. I mean though I do not supoort the fact taht he did that picture, but franky to be suspended from school and facing expultion for something he does on his own free time seems fuked up. Though once again I find the fact the kid was stupid enough to post that with his parents real steel and given that some of them do look illegal, but the fact that the kid has to face expolusion from school over a pict? Seems fuked up in a way.

whoa, watch out PUJ, i noticed you were holding guns in your myspace.

Sorry man but this kid's got some issues. Most people don't talk about holding some one at gunpoint, or the other stuff the article shows. People need to be a lot more careful on what they put up on myspace. It could come back to haunt you.

From what I read the issue seems more about what he titled the pictures and his personal messages and thoughts regarding the guns than the actual guns themselves. If he were to have just posted pictures without all the other crap I doubt folks would have gone all apes&%t and called the authorities. It doen't matter if the guns were real or not, if I read stuff like that on someones web page the last thing I would think would be "I wonder if those are Airsoft guns or real steel".
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

on my myspace i have a pic of me and my bro pointing our airsoft guns at each other point blank. and my captiona says "airsoft shootout in the living room, hella fun" should i be worried about this? i dont think it should matter cuz my cation says its airsoft

I don't think his case would hold up in a court of law. And the actions taken by the authorities may have been overstepped especially in the case of the principal. His captions and thoughts are quite disturbing but given Colorado's recent history with adolescent's and firearms I don't blame their actions.

Although that kid is stupid for doing so especially in todays world with Columbine and other crazy things going down; I don't see how this constitutes anything more than a talking to. I haven't seen all the information, but from what that article states there have been no laws broken and he hasn't actually done anything against anybody. I think his parents need to be fined for allowing access to their weapons, or something along those lines; and the kid probably needs some counseling but that would be the extent of it unless there is more that has not been stated.
