I just put a M120 into my ISC M4 and it was shooting fine for about a game then it started to act up. It sounds like the gears are actually spinning backwards after i shoot on full and the trigger randomlly locks up when shooting on semi. It still fires at the same rate and fps but it makes a wierd noise after i lay off the trigger. Can someone pls help!?
maybe a m120 is too big for the battery your using...get a bigger voltage battery, such as a 9.6 3300 or 8.4 3300...they give more power on a trigger pull, making it easier to move the gears...i would say put the old spring in and listen to it, if it works good, then the spring is too big for the gearbox to handle...but if it still makes that noise, go ahead and get it checked out and change batteries and see if that helps.
Spinning backwards?...Anti-reversal latch..
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?
I have two ICS M4's and tell you from exprience that you will want to change to metal bushings with a m120 spring or the plastic ones won't last long.
Type of gears have nothing to do with it, Battery has even less to do with it. It is your anti-reversal latch.
