I've been trying to take apart my TM M4A1 RIS. AEX installed a G&G metal reciever on it. I've taken the big pin out of it and, theoretically, it should pop right open. It isn't popping open! :x I feel like I've tried everything but it still won't open... am I missing something?

i'm not very good w/ airsoft internals and body work, but there should be a pin about 3 inches to the left of your hand in the picture......
It won't open like a stock TM anymore...it dosn't have the stock 2 piece hop in any more. You have to take out both pins and slide the upper off the lower, pull the charging handle back while you do this so the notches on the gear box will clear. be careful when you do this so you don't screw up the tabs on the upper.
