PARENT PROBLEM
dude that sounds so much like my parents!
Dude, lemme say this. If I can get a cop father to join me for a airsoft game, your parents shouldn't be so worried ^^
haha Josh your dad coming out? Hey punjabish i have an ak you can borrowo if u need it.
ya i would definitly say have ur parents come to a battle, if not have one of ur friends parents (if they play airsoft) to tell ur parents that its perfectly fine. That should hopefully work, cause ive made a lot of friends airsofting and there at least 10 or more years older then me so.......good luck though man, i hope to see u out there some time :D !
Maybe this: I'm a parent, although my girls are just a few years too young to play. When they can play, I'd let them. All they need to do is obey the rules and expect to be hit with a stream of BB's. I've seen a wide range of ages from preteen all the way up to some guy in his 50's. For the most part, everyone that I've met has been a pretty decent bunch. Now if I were in your parent's shoes, I can understand it if it were the travel to the fields and the time. As of late, I've been having a hard time with time and travel myself. Unless your folks are into the game themselves, then they would be pretty much you taxi service. Alot of parents don't find that as an option. There is the option that they let you ride with another player, but that requires them to trust someone that they don't or barely know. But if they have the time, I don't see what they have to lose to just come out and see what goes on out there. It's not unusual to see other parents out there. I remember a game where some kid's dad treated everyone to popsicles. In short. I believe that the invitation is there for them to come on out. The just need eye protection if they wish to go out where the action is and a orange vest is reccomended. They might get shot though. It may happen. Nothing that they need first aid for.

wow. its great how all of you guys support eachother : :D lately its something you dont see in sports...
yea guys, thanks a lot. But the thing is my dad is a little too old to play and he isnt very interested. My bro might want to play, but hes pretty lazy. Anyways, ill try to come to tomorrow's game, but i dont know if my dad or bro will want to get up early AND hike up a mountain. So, ill try and go to an event as soon as i can. BTW, its not about playing and getting hit by bb's my parents are worried about, its the ppl i play with. And i think that that will not be a problem as everyone here is very nice and understanding. So the only problem left is getting there. Thanks everyone, and i hope to get out there as soon as possible.

You need to have one of them take you to AEX and meet Ronnie, Mark, Andrew, and whoever is there hanging out.

My bro and i are coming for the feb 11th game, so its all good. THanks everyone.
Let your parents know that there a numerous public service people that play airsoft. (military, law enforcement, firemen and so-forth. I have not played, however I have met numerous players from this site and they all seem like great people. The Admins are very safety orientated and helpful. I say the same thing that most people have mentioned, invite your parents to a game.
Ya i agree with ERIN go to AEX and meet some of the guys, the first 3 times i went i was already a friend of theirs. So head over there some day and check it out.
