the fuse helps to maek u not burn out your motor or ruin your gears or anything. and taking it out is supossed to give it better and quicker trigger response. if u take it out, make sure u dont hold full auto for more than like 3 or 4 seconds.
Your name means nothing on the battlefield....

no removing the fuse won't effect you to much supposedly faster trigger response (personally i haven't noticed a diff in my sr-16), its a fail safe so to speak (in short so i don't have to go on with a long drowling explaination it's better your fuse blow then your motor etc if you really want an in depth answer i'll post one). Steve on your mp5 there is no reason to remove the fuse unless you plan on running li-poly through it in that case you'd have to but being that you have a k thats not gonna happen your fine, there won't be a noticeable difference in your gun's performance.

will it make a dfference if all i play on is semi or does it matter

oo matt made a good point, with the way you shoot steve i'd keep the fuse in

If your running an upgraded gun,its recommended that you keep the fuse in.It saves your motor from a shorting battery. There really isnt a big difference in ROF,with and without one,so just keep it in,for pre-cautions.

ok thats good info thx but say my fuse blows and replace it and it keeps doing that what does that mean and what should i do cause if i take it to aex they will say its fine and charge me 30 bux to bypass it
If your fuse blows --- first thing I'd do is make sure the fuse I had in it was the one recommended by the manufacturer. If you have a .5 amp fuse and your running 1 amp, your going to blow the fuse even if there are no other problems with the device. If your running the same fuse the manufacturer recommends, and you blow it, then there may be either a short or some other problem with the gun. If you have upgraded recently, I would recalculate the fuse requirement. For example, If the motor has a higher current draw, and you are using a hotter battery, then you will probaby need a denser fuse.
OR you can just get rid of the fuse and if something happens to the gun, lay off the trigger and figure out why it's not shooting.

How do you figure out the fuse rating you need? I just put one back in my gun cuz i got a brand new motor but i guestimated and put a 15A fuse in. I just charged it up and after 1 shot the fuse went. Do i just need a higher amp fuse? Its a 9.6V ???mA battery

i know the formula for ohms law, what i should have said was what current do i use? The rating of the battery in mA? Or do i have to find the current draw of the motor?

Hmm problem is i don't know the amp rating on this battery, i know its above 1500 mA but not sure how much... and since i don't have a multimeter i guess i'll just try a 20A and a 30A fuse

This has been discussed somewhere. Try a search. Keep your fuse in the gun.

hey steve, remember my TM m4? BOOOM, no fuse. motor blew. if u have no fuse, dont full auto alot and feel ur motor temp* and make sure it doesnt get "too" hot.
obviously you dont know him.

Fuse ? what the heck is that ? remove it if you have one...save your time to troubleshoot your gun problem.

Yeah i never use a fuse, i have a higher rof, more trigger responce, if the gun lock up when your firing pull your finger off the trigger and let the spring deccompress or something like, and dont let your motor overheat, i NEVER use full auto for more than one second so dont full auto in those 20 rnd hicap drum burst, plus i use low caps only so i dont have that trouble.
