ok, so my cuz is going to get the TM m4a1, prolly from AEX. What kind of batteries can he buy that will last him for longer than a mini??? (i heard about something like a "nunchuck" battery, but i dont have any experience with it) or should he just buy two minis??

yeah a nun chuck will work, it looks like this....but you will need to take the fuse out of the gun(if you go to a game, i can do it really easily, or just pm me and i can tell you through that) here is a pic:

do you have a charger? if you don't go with a li-poly set up. you could stick a 2 cell 7.4 2100mah battery which is equal to a 9.6 2100mah nimh battery. the battery is tiny

good point, li-poly's are killer

I read somewhere that 9.6volts arent good for most guns (the one i read was specifically about the TM M4A1). Anyone know about that???

9.6's should be the standard voltage for m4's

i got a regular 8 cell to fit in mine. but ya, a nunchuck would be the best.8 cell works a lot better than 7 cell in my opinion.
Your name means nothing on the battlefield....
