This is a post for everybody who is new and does not know how to work the search function...I advise all who want to ask "Which rifle is best?" or "Best rifle under $200" to stop making your topic and READ THIS.

Wow, being new and everything i learned a lot. This cleared up a lot of misconceptions about sniper rifles. i knew that in real life snipers must stay hidden, and use subterfuge to eliminate thier target and might only take one shot, and sometimes none. But i didnt know that in airsoft it was the same thing. Thanks for the info Apache, definitely sticky material.

Good article dude, you forgot one thing though, if your gona snipe u need a good spoter, not just to spot but to watch your six, i have seen good snipers get taken out because thier spotter sucked. But the gas rifles hit really hard, i have seen them embed bb's in to people head ask Ugg15 at about 100 feet out. But yup great article. :lol:

good overall for beginners to use. maybe someone should sticky this.

hey guys, ya I wrote this all by my lonesome, i figured it would be a good informational guide for beginners to get a grasp on what to get and what it takes. Just so you guys know, i posted this on the AirsoftRetreat Snipers Perch forums as well, just in case you guys were checking, my name on there is Stealth Killer Hamster.
