non-sacair events
Saturday the 11th i was at a non-sacair event game. During a break a player decided to take out his .22 lr famas and started popping rounds off into the water while atv and motorcyclist are riding around. Also less tham a half mile away opposite him are houses. This is unexcusible. I do not beleive that some of the people that use these forums are not responcible enough to actually post up games. I think that this " non-sacair event " should be deleted and that games should be held only by sacair admins.

Well I am for killing the non sac air events page and have been since the first issue. If somehting does go wrong in at a non sac air event and it was organized on our site there may be some shit comming down on us.

I agree with what Poser says. It is too much of a liability for Sacairsoft. Is it just me, or do you guys notice that growing amount of stupidity and lack of common sense with the newer players.

Ya meeting would be good. But it seems like everytime a meeting is set up not a lot of people care enough to make it there. I have not played a while in field except for at AZ which is getting worse and worse. More younger kids with guns that they have no idea what they are capable of doing. Sacair has a good rep. now and I would hate for it to lose it because of some dumb ass. I mean its getting to the point where the new people "noobs" call vet's noobs because they have never seen us out or know who we are.
I like the idea of locking out all the events that are not run by organized airsoft producers or groups. If we totally eliminate the Non-SacAir events, then where do we post Ord Games, Knock-Knock Productions, Redding guys, etc?

well i heard the story straight from erik (poser) when he was leaving the field, this is totally unacceptable. I like having the fact that we have a non-sacair events section, i can only name about 3 admins here that still run games on a normal basis. i am careless with what way you want to do away or keep non-sacair events. i agree with the fact if someone screws up, and its posted here we may lose more than just our ability to play.

I'm not all that big on the non-Sacair events forum. Personally, I don't attend those games. The whole point of holding Sacair games is to keep things safe. I'm in agreement that we should eliminate that forum.

So when do you all want to meet up. I am good for Sundays or weeknights after 5pm. I would volunteer to host the meeting at my house but I doubt that anyone would want to drive all the way up to Plumas Lake (about 10 mins from the Nam Field). Pizza sounds good to me again, but we may have to hold out on the beer till after the meeting :lol:

Then it would be hipacritical for us to tell peeps not to bring/pack real steel if an Admin does.
like i said in my post, no one knows that i have it with me. screw going to a field were you can easily get jacked by a dude with a real gun and left defenseless, just my thoughts though. But like i said everytime someone asks i say nope left it at home on my desk. I know about 5 other people as well come strapped to just about everywhere i go, matter afact haha im carrying right now.

I don't think it's at all hypocritical to tell people not be bring real steel, then having an admin or two attend the game who secretly have access to a firearm. Actually it sounds like pretty good sense to me.

Sounds good to me. Are we going to have an official stance or statement. If so I have already started one. I will post it up later on the admin forumn and you guys can edit or revise it. I gotta finish up some homework right now:(

I really think that we need to have a meeting before we enact this change.
