My wife supports my playtimes and hobbies, so it is in my best interest to support her woman like mushieness. It was my first plan to leave earlier for work (I start at 5:30 AM), stop Raley's, pick up an arrangement of flowers and a cheesy card, sneak to her work and into her office and put the stuff on her desk. Ya see? I've been neglectful at times, when it came to Valentines, Wedding Anniversary, Christmas (presents she wanted) and birthday. The excuse was always money, but she needed to be at least acknowledged. So this time I HAD a plan. I wasn't able to secure plan A (early morning surprise), so I waited until after work and bought all the stuff needed. I went to a flower store down the road from my house. There I was hit up by the owner trying to pawn these arrangements of $49.99. As worth it as my wife is, she would KILL me if I spent that much. I had to haggle the guy into just selling me 2 carnations (her favorite) for just 6 bucks. I went from there to Raley's where I bought a good Valentines card. It was one of those humor, cheesy ones, But hey! She knows me. I then went to her work where she was still there. The lady at the front let me in. Let me tell you that she works at a ladies health clinic. That means the majority of the people working there were women. I got all the feminine oohs and aaws as I wlked through. I snuck up behind my wife who was talking to a group of ladies. I had to have stood there over a minute looking like an idiot with flowers before she finally turned around and saw me. She did a double take and a shreek. That's right. She friggen shreeked like I was a stalker with a knife. She smiled, called me baby and took her stuff. She smelled the flowers, read the card, smiled some more, and let me go home.
