New member, newish to airsoft...

Feb 16, 2006 1:07am
New guy, just purchased a second-hand TM M4 V.1. Went down to AirsoftExtreme today in sac to pick up a few things for it (couple of other mags, new bucking, bb's, nimh and charger...) and the friendly employee (whom I've already forgoten his name, but I remember he mentioned that he built a lot of the guns on here for you guys... so if someone wants to help me out with his identity that would be great) pointed me to this forum.

Ronnie, I'm really glad I replaced that bucking. The groupings from the same range (and I was wrong, it was probably a lot less then I estimated when talking to you... more like 20 feet or so) are now around two inches consistantly. I imagine the higher-grade bb's helped too.

I am another newb that is going to try and get into the fun. I'm the one that has been bugging the guys at AEX about getting a CA M15 carbine and a TM Sig 226. I am an ex-marine and plan on being the guy that picks you all off from range. *evilmaniacallaughter*

I'm excited about attending some meets, but I gotta say the level of e-drama in this forum is truly astounding! Coming from a host of car-forums, I didn't think anything could top the amount of bickering that took place between motor-heads, but damn!

come and find out i did and it only hurt for a little while.... lol lol

You are like me. I'm just now getting to know more peopl onthis site and it's great...however...sometimes there are people who jump to conclusions or are a little ignorant. I don't blame them, though, bvecause many of them have not had the responsibilities and duties that the adults have. Some of us are peace officers...some of us are firefighters....some of us are paramedics..some of us are real soldiers, NSA, CIA or miltary personnel.....some of us are moms and dads...some of us are Executive Protection Operators.....some of us are PI's....some of us are government agents.....state agents......or a combination of these and/or of another occupation that many people don't know exist! One thing is certain. We all have different abilities, knowlege and experience that makes us unique. As airsoft enthsiasts, we come together and share our hobby and exchange ideas. This is what makes airsoft so fun! I ask that every new member, that makes themselves known to the Sac Air League, be the best person they can be around our youth and around us older folks. A foul mouth or ignorant attitude doesn't get an organization anywhere. It creates a bad picture for the parents that allow their kids to come out to our scenarios/games....etc.

u forgot to mention that some of us are male whores that have a very competitive work ethic. When i give my 50th BJ of the day and i feel tired, i ask myself, "Whats good for the company" then i get a second wind and polish off 25 more before i clock off.
