If you want to install a m203 and you want the convenience of a large battery I would recommend the M16A2 , you can still use the M16A2 for CQB if you don't have the fps above a certain limit. Or you can get a sidearm for cqb games like a gbb or even a spring pistol. Unless you want to attach a external battery bag for the M4 you will need to modify the front foregrip to hold a battery and install the M203.
It depends on what you like. If you like a shorter gun more maneuverable gun, M4 is the way to go. If you like long guns, M16. If you like the maneuverability of the M4 and the large stock of the M16, the SR-16 is the way to go. If your going to mount a M203 to it you should consider a metal body.
I have a old version TM M4. For more mounting options I recommend getting a railed fore grip so you can mount all the stuff you want on it. Sometimes when certain optional stuff are not neccesary you can just remove all unecessary accesories without doing major modifications or wrenching. Battery options you can use a peg box with an external battery if you plan to use the standard telescopic stock for easier manuvering. A metal frame is recommended cause of the joint where the locking pin goes thru can crack over time if you do lots of your own taking apart maintenance wrenching. Actually I plan on getting another M16 variant which would be the TM M4 S-System that comes with a funky fore grip that makes the thing even more solid. EYah the m16 m4, both great guns, the m16 has accuarcy than the m4, you can put a full stock on the m4, or u can run a 9.6v 3300mah peq unit on the RIS foregrip, and never worry aobut battery ever again. Or if u dont want a PEQ unit get the nun-chuck battery, thats what i use and i have an insane ROF at 380 fps.

depends on how much you shoot. if you spray and pray then get a bigger battery. a peq box is a box that mounts on the ris on a m4 or any other gun. some have lasers and some dont. it pretty much is a box that holds the battery and looks good. the more nimah, the better so yes bigger battery is better.
