fps reduction?

May 12, 2008 8:46pm
So I got a KWA m4, and its shooting like 410, and I want to get it just under 400. Aside from snipping/replacing the spring, what can I do (preferably free) to drop the fps?

You could add a tightbore in it that would lower the fps a little.

It lowers it because theres more friction for the bb so it goes slower but more accurate.

leaving a spring compressed or uncompressed doesnt matter
May 12, 2008 9:45pm
that may do it...PPA springs get velocity reduction up to 30 FPS when the spring is left compressed...
May 12, 2008 9:45pm
like said before, its much easier to just have the spring replaced.why would u go through all the trouble of compressing, decompressing, cutting, etc. the spring?keep the stock one so if you ever want it back in the gun you can.
