im guessing.
Your name means nothing on the battlefield....
breacher, then after team enters room he's rear security.
lets say the team is stacked on the right. The point will enter and make a quick turn to the right wall and head down it, the second man called OIC will go the opposite way, left, followed by the two assaulters each going opposite directions of the person in front of them leaving the rear security(gaurd ) going to the right.

lol I was hoping someone would voice an oponion(sp) it was a trick question. from everything I have read and seen it seems like it all depends on the situation and the intel you have. I was copying a paper that this guys wrote and they said go to the closest wall to the operator. But then I havea couple of videos where you see the guy crossing the doorways too! You can flood the room and all sorts of different ways of occuping the room and controling your field of fire.

Sorry about that, organizing my PB account.
Whether you cross or peel upon entry is usually determined upon what is encountered after the door is breached. Either is acceptable and how you train is more a factor than which is right or wrong. The point man makes the first move and the rest of the team reacts from there; point is never wrong.
And should another macabre spectacle like that occur... I can promise you gentleman a day of reckoning you will not live long enough to never forget. -Way of the Gun
thanks Neo. I wish I could find more diagrams. I am by far no expert that is why I posted it up. I agree it depends on 1 the point man and 2 the situation. But there are so many ways to enter and contain the room I wish I could put diagrams of at least 5 different ones up.

As I understand it, one method of entering involves a heavy side and a light side. The heavy side being the side of the room that contains more threats. It basically plays out like this.
"As I walk throught the valley of the Shadow of Death I have no fear, because I am the meanest mutherf***er in the whole valley."
Yeah  look at tac 2 question. Penetration instead of flooding!
