Hey guys i was just wondering if any of my fellow sacairsoft guys knew where you can get the new Star Sopmod M14....i cant find them anywhere...are they even released yet...well let me know if you guys know anywhere where i can pick one up...Thanx guys and keep it easy

They've been released just not in the US. You have to order them from Japan. Just to let you know from what I've read getting the battery in and out of the foregrip is a real pain the in butt. So people have been resorting to PEQ boxes. I know you have the TM M14, and the Star uses it's own version of magazines so tm's/g&g won't work. Getting in and out of the gearbox is a complete nightmare so getting it worked on will probably cost more. And the stock has been known to break off. $800 without shipping from Echigoya Japan is the only place I know of that has it available online.

If the price was reasonable I would have one...

freq88: thanx for all your help it is greatly appreciated( spelling)...as for the price i dont mind paying it i just dont wanna spend $800 on the gun and it ends up being a P.O.S lol....and i am stopping by Gamepod tomorrow and i am goin to talk to craig about them and see what he says....thanx again

Internally I haven't heard any issues just externally. Internals are supposed to be made by Guarder.

If you mean 2 piece as in split no. 2 piece as in two halves like all other gearboxes then yes. What's really funky about it is the motor. It has a really long pinion shaft. So if the motor dies you maybe screwed since getting replacement parts maybe even tougher then getting the star itself.

yea i dont mind the auto thing too to much....i guess i could live with it...i think i might just wait for them to come to the US or i might just buy another TM M14 8)
