My friend just bought a m9 and i was planning on buyin one but hre said that the stock clips is cool but the spare one leaks is this with all gas guns?

Yes gas guns can leak but they do not all leak all the time. Proper maintenance of gas guns is required to keep it from corroding and developing leaks over time.

Well, yes. Gas guns to me can require more maintenance than AEGs.

Then yes I would recommend it, as long as you purchase a reliable manufacturer and use their recommended gas. Gas guns aren't terribly hard to maintain. if you use gas sold for airsoft it will have lubricants inside, so making sure the gun itself is lubricated shouldn't be a problem. Mags should be the same way but orings do tend to wear out after a while. How long? Who knows. Some people have been able to go a whole year others a week. But once it's relubricated or changed out you're good to go for a long while again.

Before each game and after each game make sure you lube your gun and mags. I never did that and had to buy new guns, but once I learned the hard way I have'nt had any problems. I always store my mags with just a little gas in each to help maintain the seals.
