SACair Forum

[SACAIR] IMPORTANT Forum Notice

Mar 3, 2006 3:58pm
i think its because it at a different place, not a filed(example CQB) where we all go to play...thats technically a laser tag arena, but have airsoft games in them. after the games they clean up, etc. but there rules are different, and i think much harsher then sacair,...full face is required,340 fps, you have to PAY $15, etc. its a totally different field, and sacair doesnt have the right to say you cant play games at AZ or something like that.
Mar 3, 2006 4:01pm
here is another problem i have with this. how does XposionX post his AZ games????? his safety guidelines exceed sacair's, but hes not an admin.
Mar 3, 2006 4:05pm
Too many senseless people out there that think 'safe rules' only exists because 'The Man' wants to limit the fun.
Mar 3, 2006 4:07pm
i agree that if you post a non sacair game on the sacair boards you should conform to sacair rules.
Mar 3, 2006 4:12pm
We have already said that games could be posted up here, not with only sacair rules but the events will be reviewed by us. Some one like AdventureZone would obviously be posted here, the have their own ability to manage their games and etc.
Mar 3, 2006 4:15pm
they would also be much more liable than sacair if an incident were to happen there.
Mar 3, 2006 4:17pm
they have a cool piece of paper that they pay shit loads of money for... insurance.
Mar 3, 2006 4:24pm
All right I understand its all about liability you never know someone might want to ruin it for the rest of us so I am cool with this
Coolwater airsoft is a bunch of queers hence they all dress pretty and match all the time, most of them are simply adults that live at home still, when they arent doing airsoft stuff they like to play D&D and have circle jerks, they all voted for Jon Kerry and are democrats
Mar 3, 2006 4:40pm
ok i am confused now.
Mar 3, 2006 5:35pm
Currently the non-sacair events forum is offline.

Im a noob but. +1 to the safety implementations. Better in the long run for the game itself. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one. Just my opinion, and thanks CMC for the lesson in law.
Learn the law before you try to quote it. If you enter into an activity that has a reasonable chance of injury, and you do in fact get injured, there is no criminal liability that would fall on the referee, period. Furthermore, there would only be criminal liability on the part of person who injured you if he or she was acting outside the rules of the game AND was intentionally trying to cause said injury. Also it would have to be an injury that was not part of routine game play, ie someone buttstroking you with their M4. Just like playing a game of pick-up basketball, you couldn't have a defender arrested for elbowing you, even if he WAS cheating.
There have been allot of interesting comments on this post. I agree with some others I don't. But everyone needs to stop and remember this site was designed and ran by the admin. We the users or members are not charged any fees to use the site. If the admin decide they need to change things so this site can continue then so be it. they aren't going to do anything to hurt the sport.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.
But history repeats itself. Anyone who was around when the first "issues" started can see the same trend starting again. What they are trying to do is stop the issue before it stops. If you think this is control now, wait until chit starts hitting the fan.

absolutely I believe safety is first an foremost the biggest part of having fun, but what if it is not convenient for an admin to make it one day does that mean it is cancelled?
Mar 4, 2006 12:15am
i pm'd you so we can keep this discussion off of this thread, since it really doesn't apply here

OPFOR you should not be so worried unless it is your intent to host games with 600fps limits and .008' engagement distances
Mar 4, 2006 12:27am
I am cool with asking permission to promote it here I just think it sucks that you are required to have an admin at the game
